About

Welcome!  I am a PhD candidate in my final year in the Linguistics program at Boston University. I am also serving as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of New Hampshire for the 2023-2024 academic year, teaching Introduction to Linguistics.

My primary areas of research interest include multilingualism, adult second and third language acquisition, cross-linguistic influence, and grammatical gender.  I am interested in examining the influence that the languages of a multilingual have on each other throughout the L2/L3/Ln learning process, and how the relationship between the languages of a multilingual changes throughout the lifetime.

I completed my MA in Applied Linguistics in 2018 at Boston University, where concentrated my research in the acquisition of L3 grammatical gender in beginner German learners.  I completed my BA in Linguistics and Psychology and my BS in Cognitive Science at the University of Connecticut, where I also minored in Music.
